The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.
Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.
The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.
Job Purpose
Responsible for leading quality assurance activities related to new product development (NPD) within the Medium Voltage (MV) business line. This role ensures that all product and process requirements are met through effective implementation of APQP principles, coordination of PPAP submissions, risk mitigation through FMEAs, and collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
Key Accountability Areas
PPAP Documentation and Management:
- Develop and maintain Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation for new and modified components.
- Review and approve supplier PPAP submissions to ensure completeness and compliance.
Cross-Functional Quality Collaboration:
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to align on quality expectations during product design and development.
- Ensure quality requirements are integrated across the product lifecycle from concept to production.
Supplier Quality Coordination:
- Ensure suppliers meet quality standards for new products and components.
- Provide guidance and technical support to suppliers to align with AQP requirements and timelines.
Compliance and Standards Assurance:
- Verify that all components and processes comply with customer-specific requirements, industry regulations, and internal standards.
- Support internal and external audits related to new product quality assurance.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Drive quality improvements by identifying gaps and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead efforts to optimize quality processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
FMEA Action Plan Tracking:
- Follow up on actions arising from DFMEA (Design FMEA) and PFMEA (Process FMEA) sessions.
- Ensure proper documentation, tracking, and closure of risk mitigation actions.
NPD Quality Leadership:
- Manage quality-related activities for all New Product Developments (NPDs) within the MV business line.
- Act as the quality lead in project teams, ensuring quality deliverables are met at each development milestone.
