Senior SAP Integration Consultant

Job Purpose

To design, develop, and support SAP integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite and SAP Process Integration, ensuring reliable data exchange between systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Cloud for Customer, and SAP Hybris, while maintaining system stability and supporting business integration requirements.

Key Accountability Areas

Integration Development:

  • Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite and SAP Process Integration technologies.
  • Develop integration scenarios using:
    • Message Mapping
    • XSLT Mapping
    • Java Mapping
  • Create and maintain Integration Builder objects such as Integrated Configuration Objects (ICO).
  • Develop and maintain complex mapping programs and user-defined functions.
  • Configure and manage web service interfaces and service interfaces within the Enterprise Services Repository (ESR).
  • Configure and manage SAP adapters including:
    • IDOC
    • JDBC
    • FILE
    • RFC
    • SOAP
  • Develop and manage both client and server proxies.
  • Perform unit testing of developed interfaces to ensure solution quality.

System Integration & Landscape Management:

  • Work with various SAP systems including SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Cloud for Customer, and SAP Hybris.
  • Implement and support cross-system integrations across SAP and third-party applications.
  • Work with System Landscape Directory (SLD) activities related to integration configuration.
  • Develop and maintain workflows using Cross Component Business Process Management (ccBPM) where applicable.

System Monitoring and Support:

  • Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot SAP integration issues across the landscape.
  • Investigate and resolve advanced incidents and service requests.
  • Provide production support and ensure timely resolution of integration-related issues.
  • Maintain system stability and ensure compliance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Technical Assessment & Solution Design:

  • Perform technical analysis and scoping of business requirements.
  • Prepare accurate development effort estimates and provide technical recommendations.
  • Design low-level technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and system requirements.
  • Assist in project planning, defining project scope, and preparing work plans for integration activities.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Produce high-quality technical documentation for all developments, integrations, and customizations.
  • Ensure adherence to established documentation standards and templates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to the SAP landscape.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Research and recommend emerging technologies and best practices to enhance integration architecture.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to reduce operational costs and increase system reliability.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Provide timely updates on project status, risks, and issues to team members and management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Information Mgmt. Sciences & Systems or Any relevant field
