Senior SAP PI/CPI Consultant

Job Purpose

This position exists to assist project team in the configuration of business processes related to SAP integration module efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments within wider scope.

Functional Responsibilities

CPI / PI: 

  • Working with mapping programs like Message Mapping, XSLT mappings, JAVA Mappings. 
  • Working with Integration Builder objects like ICO object etc.
  • Working with User defined functions. 
  • Working with Alert configurations both for 7.1 and 7.3 Unistack. 
  • Working with creation of Service interfaces etc. in ESR. 
  • Working with Complex mapping programs. 
  • Working Web Service interfaces. 
  • Configuring SAP Adapters like IDOC, JDBC, FILE, RFC, SOAP etc. 
  • Working with both Client & Server Proxies. 
  • Unit testing the developed interfaces.  
  • Minimum knowledge on SLD activities is required. 
  • Working with PI Versions like 7.1X 
  • PI System Configurations.
  • Working with ccBPM (Cross Component Business Process Management)
  • Analyzing, Designing, Monitoring and Troubleshooting Issues of SAP Systems.
  • Responsibility for advanced incident / service requests investigation, diagnosis, and resolutions where possible.
  • Changing the SAP environment according to customer needs.
  • Assure compliance with policy and procedures affecting the SAP landscape.
  • Research, identify, and formally present opportunities to increase productivity, improve quality, and reduce costs for SAP landscape support through emerging products, technologies, and best practices
  • Communicate timely status updates (both verbal and written) to team members and management
  • Excellent technical, analytical, verbal communication and self-management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage work priorities

Technical Assessment: 

  • Perform technical analysis, technical scoping, and development estimates for business requirements with accurate effort estimates and low-level design on technical solution ensuring that proposed solutions and requirements are viable and can be delivered to satisfaction of the customer. Assist in the preparation of project plans for activities performed within the framework of a given project including defining technical project scope as well as preparing work plans for the project.

Solution documentation: 

  • Produce high quality technical documents on all developments and customizations within the defined deadlines to ensure documentation standards and templates are followed.

Post go-live support: 

  • Resolve production incidents during the support and maintenance phase within the defined Service Level Agreements – SLAs to ensure system stability and customer satisfaction

  • Qualification

    Bachelor in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
