Senior SharePoint Admin

Job Purpose

Managing and having strong technical experience in sharepoint (onprem,azure& subcription model), microsoft azure with sql database and microsoft power apps. Must also poses knowledge on standalone dot-net platfrom administration on azure and can handle a large team of admins for diffrent Non-microsoft SAAS & on prem application.

Key Accountability Areas

IT Systems Monitor and Update:

  • Monitor cloud and on-premises resources to verify integrity and availability.
  • Performing maintenance of the SharePoint platform, servers, and intranet.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions.
  • Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
  • Maintaining SharePoint security aspects, including firewalls, encryption and security zones.
  • Keeping up to date with SharePoint developments and performing version updates and upgrades.

Technicality & Reporting:

  • Manage SharePoint Online and SQL within Azure.
  • Installing the SharePoint platform, integrating applications, and creating libraries.
  • Experience in Upgrade and migration to SharePoint online latest available version.
  • Comfortable with T-SQL scripting, general database administration work, user profile management, backup/restore and general management of SharePoint environments in production, both on-prem and online
  • Experience of Azure cloud management/deployment would be highly beneficial.
  • Experience deploying Azure resources and other cloud technologies.
  • Adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions.
  • Have knowledge of Microsoft license tiers and help on utilization reports.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as SQL Server, Power apps, and Office 365.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks.

Data Management:

  • Administer and maintain the SharePoint instance and infrastructure, including the server the instance lives on.
  • Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.
  • Reviewing usage and activity reports and adjusting ensure optimized user-experiences.

Others:

  • Providing SharePoint support and end-user Support /training.

  • Academic Qualification

    Bachelor Degree in Information Mgmt. Sciences & Systems or Any relevant field
