Job Purpose
Ensure high quality production by implementing quality control measures, conducting inspections, and collaborating with teams. Optimize quality management systems, resolve non-conformities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement to meet regulations and customer expectations.
Key Accountability Areas
Routine Testing:
- Conduct regular electrical tests on each manufactured cable length to ensure compliance with specified requirements.
Type Testing:
- Perform scheduled electrical type tests for new cable designs or machinery installations according to the type test plan.
Certificates:
- Issue electrical test certificates and test reports for finished products.
Rewinding Section:
- Oversee and monitor the rewinding process.
Nonconformance Report:
- Supervise corrective or preventive actions by analyzing root causes and addressing non-conformities in testing methods.
Samples:
- Manage outgoing samples to the sales department, ensuring a friendly reception for customers and meeting their needs, including conducting Customer Satisfaction Surveys.
ISO Documentation:
- Create and update test work instructions and methods for all devices in the electrical test lab. Also, contribute to the development of power labs and tools.
Role Accountability
HR Proficiency:
- Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
- Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
- Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.
Delivery:
- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
Problem-Solving:
- Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Business Process Improvements:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Health, Safety and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
