The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

To ensure the reliability, availability, and compliance of fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems through effective maintenance engineering, inspections, testing, and technical support, in accordance with approved standards, codes, and safety requirements. 

Key Accountability Areas

Fire Systems Maintenance Engineering

  • Provide technical support for preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems.
  • Review maintenance procedures and ensure fire systems are maintained in accordance with approved standards and manufacturers’ recommendations.
  • Support troubleshooting of fire system faults and recurring failures.

Inspection, Testing & Commissioning Support

  • Support inspection, testing, and functional verification of fire protection systems.
  • Review inspection and test reports to verify system performance and compliance.
  • Support commissioning and re-commissioning activities following modifications or repairs.

Fire Protection Compliance

  • Ensure fire systems comply with applicable fire and life safety codes, standards, and local authority requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
  • Assist in closing non-conformities related to fire systems and protection measures.

Reliability & Risk Prevention

  • Identify system weaknesses and potential fire protection risks.
  • Recommend technical improvements to enhance system reliability and availability.
  • Review changes in equipment, layouts, or processes for fire system impact.

Documentation & Records

  • Maintain technical records related to maintenance, testing, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and system documentation as required.

Coordination & Technical Support

  • Coordinate with Maintenance, HSE, Engineering, and external service providers on fire systems activities.
  • Provide technical guidance to technicians during maintenance and fault-finding activities.

Continuous Improvement

  • Support improvement initiatives related to fire systems maintenance practices.
  • Contribute to updating maintenance checklists, procedures, and technical guidelines.

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Safety Engineering or Any relevant field
