Industrial Complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

Design, implement, and maintain automated systems for power distribution and substations, ensuring efficient and reliable operations. Analyzing requirements, designing automation solutions, overseeing system integration, conducting testing, and providing ongoing support for optimal performance.

Key Accountability Areas

Customer Requirements and Engagement:

  • Analyzing customer requirements pertaining to SCADA.
  • Conducting meetings with customers and clients as necessary.

Technical Specifications and Design:

  • Ensuring completion of all technical specifications outlined in the tender document.
  • Developing the system design, encompassing Ethernet LAN, HMI, automation component settings, parameterization, configurations, and system architecture.
  • Generating Bill of Materials (BOM) and initiating the procurement process for SCADA equipment.

Quality Control and Testing:

  • Resolving any issues that may arise during the production stage.
  • Addressing and clarifying technical concerns related to design through quality control/testing processes.
  • Conducting comprehensive testing of SCADA equipment, software, Ethernet switches, and all components associated with the SCADA system.
  • Generating relevant test reports for SCADA equipment.
  • Conducting testing procedures during customer inspections.

Safety Procedures:

  • Adhering to all safety protocols.

Site Testing and Commissioning:

  • Conducting on-site testing and commissioning activities for the SCADA system.

Role Accountability

HR Proficiency:

  • Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
  • Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
  • Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

  • Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
