Job Purpose

Build and nurture relationships with key clients, understanding their needs for satisfaction, retention, and business growth. Act as the primary contact, identifying opportunities, addressing concerns, and collaborating on strategic initiatives to maximize mutual value.

Key Accountability Areas

Key Account Management

  • Serve as the primary contact for utility companies, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term account retention.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, procurement, and technical teams to secure repeat business.
  • Develop and implement account strategies tailored to utility sector needs, aligned with company objectives.

Business Development and Regional Sales

  • Identify and qualify opportunities in transmission, distribution, and generation sectors within the MENA region.
  • Support tenders, proposals, and bid strategies to ensure technical and commercial competitiveness in the utility market.
  • Expand market reach by promoting electrical distribution systems, switchgear, automation solutions, and industrial equipment for utility applications.

Technical and Project Support

  • Provide technical consultation and product presentations to utility clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory and regional standards such as SEC, DEWA, and ADDC.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and execution teams to ensure specifications and delivery meet utility requirements.
  • Participate in technical evaluations, site visits, and commissioning support activities.

Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor trends, regulations, and competitor activities in the utility sector to identify growth opportunities and reduce risks.
  • Share actionable market insights with R&D, product management, and leadership teams to influence strategic decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure smooth contract execution for utility projects.
  • Support marketing initiatives through participation in exhibitions, conferences, and utility-focused events.
  • Provide leadership with structured reports on KPIs, forecasts, and utility project pipelines.

  • Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Management
