Industrial Complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

Manage materials for efficient production, ensuring optimal inventory levels, timely procurement, and adherence to quality standards.

Key Accountability Areas

Inventory Management:

  • Determine optimal procurement timing and quantities to align with production and warehouse capacity.
  • Minimize stock levels and eliminate delivery delays to enhance inventory turnover.

Safety Stock and Material Segmentation:

  • Regularly update safety stock for all active items.
  • Implement material segmentation (ABC, XYZ, etc.) and material planning parameters.

Procurement and Logistics:

  • Issue purchase requests promptly.
  • Follow up with procurement and logistics for timely material delivery, escalating any potential stockouts.

Delivery and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure on-time delivery while adhering to budget limits and quality standards.
  • Assess materials availability for incoming orders and production plans.

Stock Management and Action Plans:

  • Lead and initiate action plans to reduce excess and obsolete stock.
  • Manage the phase-in/phase-out process for materials.

Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor and review achievements and deviations from predefined plans.
  • Continuously refine processes and procedures.

Role Accountability

HR Proficiency:

  • Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
  • Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
  • Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

  • Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Any relevant field
