Sr. Testing & Commissioning Engineer - Smart Home Automation | alfanar Electric

Job Purpose

Lead design, development, and improvement of circuit breakers, switches and sockets, ensuring compliance, driving innovation, optimizing manufacturing, and enhancing product performance for overall efficiency and competitiveness.

Key Accountability Areas

Project Support:

• Assist project teams in preparing technical and coordinating financial proposals for GRMS.

Development:

• Engage in the hardware and software development for smart home and building automation products and solutions. Conduct research and development for new solutions, staying updated with emerging technology.

Testing and Analysis:

• Conduct testing and analysis of trial projects. Provide technical support and report on field tests.

Experimentation and Integration:

• Conduct necessary experimentation in the Integration laboratory.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Document solutions and systems for smart homes. Prepare reports for accomplished tasks, technical evaluations, plans, remedies, etc.

Program Development:

• Utilize and develop the necessary programs, software tools, and applications required for smart home systems.

Customer Complaints Analysis:

• Analyze customer complaints for defective products and recommend necessary remedies.

Overall Development Objectives:

• Execute all tasks necessary to achieve solution and product development objectives.

Strategy Implementation:

• Execute the strategy of Alfanar Smart Solutions for Homes and Buildings.

Role Accountability

HR Proficiency:

• Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
• Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
• Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.

Delivery:

• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

• Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

• Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
