Sr.Specialist, Authorization Operations

Job Purpose

This position exists to perform authorization operations efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments within wider scope.

Key Accountability Areas

  • Contribute to the design of Delegation of Authority (DoA) lines, and follow up its approval
  • Act as a service provider (point of contact) for all end-users’ authorities within his/her scope of work.
  • Study existing as well asl new processes to build the required Authorizations
  • Design the operational authority matrixes due to running process and procedures, including related coding.
  • Make sure the operational authorities and access permissions are well designed, according to the approved delegations, and formally assigned.
  • Review risks that relate to, and/or might impacts the DoA effectiveness, and push towards applying the proper mitigation controls
  • Act as Role Manager to follow alfanar GRC policy:
  1. Monitor, analysis and report the utilization of the granted authorization and access permissions, suggest changes as much as deemed necessary.
  2. Design & deploy structured SAP roles in all applicable systems (ECC, BI, FIORI)
  3. Review SAP roles and lead the role catalog design and implementation
  4. Perform risk assessment when granting an authority, an access permission, an existing or a new role.
  5. Apply required restrictions on the given authorization based on scope of work and business nature.
  6. Prepare the risk acceptance / mitigation documents using both business and technical terminology.

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Systems Analysis & Engineering
