Job Purpose

This position exists to receive, stock, arrange and Issue materials efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Key Accountability Areas

Material Receiving and Inspection

  • Check and identify received materials from vendors against purchase orders (PO) or from other internal plants in terms of quantity, unit of measure (UOM), and condition.
  • Inform Quality Control (QC) to inspect the material.
  • Follow up with all involved parties (QC, Procurement, and Accounts) for the received material and arrange for material inspection with Quality.
  • Segregate rejected or damaged material in the blocked area along with an NCR (Non-Conformance Report).

System and Documentation Management

  • Create Goods Receipt (GR) and post the received material in the system according to company procedures.
  • Create Goods Issue (GI) and post Post Goods Issue (PGI) with physical delivery/shipping.
  • File all documentation properly.
  • Prepare the Gate Pass for trailers.

Material Issuance and Handling

  • Issue material to production against Stock Transfer Orders (STO) or material reservations as per company procedures.
  • Issue material based on FIFO (First In First Out) or FEFO (First Expiry First Out).
  • Ensure compliance with 5S standards and maintain these standards in stores.

Safety and Equipment Management

  • Maintain and keep safety, housekeeping, and security instructions.
  • Ensure assets are healthy and in good condition.
  • Conduct daily check-ups for machines and equipment.

Customer Service and Issue Management

  • Provide fast and efficient service to internal and external customers.
  • Highlight any issues that may harm work processes or company assets to superiors.

Inventory Management

  • Manage and ensure the cycle count process for all inventory.

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Diploma Degree in Electrical Institute or Mechanical Institue
