The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

Execute projects related to Substation Automation and SCADA systems. Understanding customer requirements, developing technical specifications, designing system architectures, and ensuring successful project implementation. Hands-on work in system design, procurement, quality assurance, and testing. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, resolves technical issues, and delivers projects meeting or exceeding customer expectations.Enhance the efficiency, reliability, and functionality of substation automation systems.

Key Accountability Areas

Requirement Analysis and Documentation:

  • Conducting a comprehensive analysis of customer requirements pertaining to SCADA.
  • Ensuring the completion of all technical specifications as mandated by the tender document, wherever applicable.

System Design:

  • Developing a meticulous system design encompassing Ethernet LAN, HMI, Automation component settings, parameterization, configurations, and overall system architecture.
  • Generating a Bill of Materials (BOM) and initiating the procurement process for SCADA equipment.

Quality Assurance and Testing:

  • Proactively addressing and resolving any issues that may arise during the production phase.
  • Providing clarification on technical matters related to design during Quality Control (QC) and testing processes.
  • Conducting thorough testing of SCADA equipment, software, Ethernet switches, and all components associated with the SCADA system.
  • Preparing comprehensive test reports relevant to SCADA equipment.
  • Participating in testing procedures during customer inspections.

Procurement and Safety:

  • Creating a detailed Bill of Materials and commencing the procurement of SCADA equipment.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to all safety procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Any relevant field
