Job Purpose

IT Lead Industrial Solutions oversees the implementation of software applications and managing the IT resources in Division, Responsible for the overall Industrial Manufacturing Solutions, direction and planning of all activities undertaken by IT team in Business division.

Key Accountability Areas

Accountable for timely delivery, meeting agreed standards, multi-tasking different activities, closely collaborating and mentoring the internal and external consultants. 
Effectively communicate in your client facing role for customer concerns\requirements, status of tasks, risks, and dependencies appropriately with the team to work and resolve gaps\issues. 
Foster the culture of innovation, building and enduring healthy relationships with positive feedback from colleagues and customers. 
Collaborate with MES vendors to stay updated on software upgrades, patches, and emerging technologies. 
Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely resolution of issues and alignment with company objectives 
Ensure MES compliance with industry regulations, data security protocols, and internal policies. 
Implement measures to safeguard MES data integrity and protect against cyber threats and collaborate with Cyber Security team and OT team. 
Lead the planning, design, and implementation of MES solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and manufacturing requirements. 
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MES with existing shop floor systems, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP). 
Customize MES software to meet specific manufacturing needs and requirements. 
Configure MES parameters to optimize production workflows and facilitate real-time data exchange between systems 
Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement MES-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and traceability. 
Collaborate with production teams to streamline workflows and minimize downtime through MES functionalities. 
Provide training to shop floor personnel on MES functionalities and best practices. 
Offer ongoing support to resolve MES-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production operations. 
Monitor and analyze MES-generated data to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for continuous improvement. 
Maintain comprehensive documentation of MES configurations, customizations, and system changes. 
Generate regular reports on MES performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement. 
Provide subject matter expertise on SAP’s best practices for implementing respective SAP module business processes.  Lead workshops in gathering business requirements, influence adoption of standard SAP processes, identify and handle gaps while minimizing development effort. Provides effective subject matters expertise, support, and assurance to business  
Design, configure, test, and implement assigned SAP module business processes and ensure SAP standard is followed, minimizing customization 
Management (Scrum, Waterfall Methodology) and have good knowledge in using (Jira) as project management Tool is plus. 
Business transformation (restructuring, mergers, process harmonization, data harmonization).  
Knowledge in Industrial Engineering Manufacturing, Supply Chain Operations and Energy products is Plus 
Good Knowledge in Resource Management, Planning,

  • Responsible for monitoring and control budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency. 

Organizational Development:

  • Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
  • Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deploy them.

  • Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible. 
  • Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
