Talent Management and Retention Manager

Job Purpose

Oversee and develop the entire process of employee relations processes and mandates by fostering positive employee relations, promoting employee engagement, and ensuring a fair work environment, cultivating a robust organizational culture, enhancing employee performance and productivity, and a building culture of continuous development that aligns performance with organizational goals.

Key Accountability Areas

Talent Management and Retention Strategy:
•    Develop and implement strategies for positive employee engagement and retention.
•    Spearhead initiatives to cultivate a positive and dynamic organizational culture that aligns with the company’s values and business objectives. 
•    Provide strategic direction on performance metrics and ensure the integration of performance management with overall business strategy.

Policy Development and Compliance:
•    Develop, review, and update talent management and retention policies and procedures in compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
•    Ensure that organizational policies and practices are fair, equitable, and consistently applied across the divisions.
•    Oversee the development and implementation of the performance management system that effectively measures and enhances employee productivity and aligns with the organization's goals. 

Employee Engagement and Retention:
•    Collaborate with HR and management to develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
•    Conduct surveys, focus groups, or other methods to gather feedback from employees and identify areas for improvement.
•    Ensure consistent and appropriate coaching culture is adopted and applied across all functions.
•    Ensure that talent management systems and associated processes and practices align individual, team and service objectives to alfanar Vision and Values.
•    Build relationships with business units and internal stakeholders to understand their plans and objectives and deliver value solutions.
•    Oversee the administration of employee recognition programs to motivate and reward outstanding performance.

Performance Management:
•    Develop a performance management system that motivates employees, improves productivity, and helps achieve the company goals.
•    Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on employee performance management processes, including, but not limited to, performance evaluations, coaching, and career growth options.
•    Ensure that performance management practices are conducted fairly and consistently and aligned with organizational goals.
•    Work with leaders to ensure that they are a driving force, motivating individuals and teams to achieve success, with primary focus on managing and optimizing the development process, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards.
•    Integrate performance management with other HR processes such as relevant processes.

Performance Management Metrics and Reporting:
•    Oversee and analyze talent management and retention data to measure the effectiveness of talent management and retention initiatives, identify trends, forecast future performance and engagement issues, and identify areas for improvement. This includes tracking employee satisfaction, turnover rates, and talent management and retention issues, and reporting findings to senior management.
•    Conduct post-implementation reviews of performance management initiatives to assess their impact and effectiveness and suggest adjustments as necessary.

Qualifications:
•    In-depth knowledge of L&D strategies, performance management systems, and compensation and benefits planning.
•    Master’s degree in organizational development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

 

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Management / Project Management
