Job Purpose
To lead and coordinate daily store operations, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of materials in compliance with company procedures. The role supervises store staff, maintains stock accuracy, and ensures timely material availability to support production and project requirements while upholding safety and housekeeping standards.
Key Accountability Areas
Store Operations Supervision
- Oversee daily store activities, including material receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance.
- Assign tasks to storekeepers and ensure proper handling of goods according to storage guidelines.
- Verify that material transactions are promptly and accurately recorded in the ERP system.
Inventory Control and Accuracy
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records.
- Ensure proper labeling, identification, and location tracking of all materials.
Material Issuance and Availability
- Ensure timely preparation and issuance of materials based on approved requests.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and project teams to meet operational requirements.
- Track pending material requests and follow up to ensure timely fulfillment.
Documentation and Reporting
- Review and verify incoming and outgoing material documentation, including delivery notes and material requisitions.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date store records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Prepare daily and periodic store activity reports for the Section Manager.
Safety and Compliance
- Enforce adherence to safety regulations, housekeeping standards, and security protocols within the store area.
- Ensure storage practices comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Report any safety hazards or irregularities to management immediately.
Team Development and Coordination
- Provide guidance and on-the-job training to store team members to enhance operational efficiency.
- Facilitate smooth coordination with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams for material movement.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in store operations.

- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

- Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Any relevant field
