Industrial Complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

Add value engineering for consultants during the projects design stage by using ETAP/ALFALINE Software to size and calculate MV/LV networks.

Key Accountability Areas

Collaborative Optimization:

  • Optimize and refine electrical calculations in ETAP and AlfaLine for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implement comprehensive testing procedures to validate integrated functionality with design tools in MV and LV factories.

Continuous Enhancement:

  • Continuously update libraries in ETAP/AlfaLine with new technologies and industry standards.
  • Explore opportunities for software enhancement through collaboration with industry experts and participation in forums or conferences.

Knowledge Transfer and Improvement:

  • Actively engage in knowledge transfer sessions with software developers to stay updated on emerging trends in power system analysis.
  • Establish a systematic process for documenting and addressing feedback from consultants, fostering a responsive and iterative approach to improving power system solutions.

Empowerment and Proactive Support:

  • Develop customized training modules to empower consultants with advanced skills in utilizing ETAP/AlfaLine for intricate network designs.
  • Proactively identify and address potential challenges in power system analysis, offering solutions to consultants before issues arise.

Integration and Communication:

  • Conduct regular reviews of power system models and configurations to identify areas for optimization and efficiency improvement.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication between technical teams, consultants, and software developers to ensure seamless integration and a unified approach to network design challenges.

  • Ability to recruit, recognize and cultivate high performers and expose them in order to create a robust second line of management.
  • Ability to recognize low performers and guide them to improve or release them.
  • Ability to treat subordinates equally without any discrimination.
