SOFT SERVICES MANAGER

Job Purpose
To oversee and manage the delivery of non-technical, or "soft," services within a facility to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment, while optimizing efficiency and compliance with regulations.
Key Accountability Areas
Service Coordination: Oversee the coordination and management of soft services including cleaning, janitorial services, landscaping, and waste management to maintain facility aesthetics and functionality.
Vendor Management: Identify, select, and negotiate contracts with service vendors and suppliers ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality of service.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate vendor performance against service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure contractual obligations are met.
Compliance and Regulations: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Team Management: Lead and supervise the soft services team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Client Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the facility and its clients, tenants, or occupants, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Performance Monitoring: Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) and client feedback to assess the quality of soft services.
Emergency Response: Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for all soft services areas.
Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control measures to consistently meet or exceed service standards.
Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records and documentation related to all aspects of soft services management.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process and operational improvements within soft services.
Customer Satisfaction: Prioritize and actively work towards enhancing customer satisfaction through top-notch soft services.
Security and Access Control: Oversee measures related to soft services that impact security and access control, ensuring a secure environment for all.
